Financial Assistance

lightening the financial burden caused by serious illness

Since Jackson’s death in May of 2006, the foundation has assisted more than 225 families in our local area and surrounding communities.

summer matinee series at Village Centre Cinemas

Special thanks to 100 Women Who Care at the Confluence for their monetary award which made this event possible.

For five weeks this summer, Jackson's Pay It Forward Foundation was the event sponsor for a 5-week special kids’ matinee series at Valley Centre Cinemas. Each week featured a different kids’ matinee with one of the screens devoted to a “sensory” version of that movie for kids who require less stimulation (sound, light, etc.) The foundation purchased tickets for attendees of the sensory movies as well as kiddie pack concessions for them, so the movies were essentially free of charge for that group.

The 2024 Summer Children’s Matinee Series was a big success!

Over the five weeks that the program ran on Mondays and Wednesdays, we had just over 3,500 patrons attend. Additionally, we had around 225 patrons specifically attend the sensory-friendly showings on Mondays and Tuesdays, marking the largest sensory-friendly attendance we have had to date!
